Our annual cider pressing weekend is a chance to see cider made the old fashioned way using a 'Workman' steam driven press and an antique rachet twin hand screw press filtered through straw.

Working demonstrations include:
Steam driven ‘Workman’ press restored in 2004 by Albert Rixen
Hand screw press using straw as a filter, with mill driven by a miniature steam engine.

Travelling press
Hurdle makers
Wood turning.

Also: traditional fairground attractions, museum pieces,
Foden Steam Lorry, table top steam engines, cider through
the ages display.
